WHAT WE BELIEVE

RISEN CHRIST CHURCH IS COMMITTED TO BEING A GOSPEL-CENTERED COMMUNITY FOLLOWING JESUS TOGETHER FOR GOD’S GLORY, OUR JOY, AND THE GOOD OF ALL PEOPLE.

While we hold the Bible as our ultimate authority for matters of life and faith, we use a few foundational documents to shape and guide our life together as a church as we seek to live faithfully in response to the gospel. These documents are agreed upon by the congregation and help us pursue clarity of belief and practice.

As we seek to be a gospel-centered community, our CORE BELIEFS keep us anchored in the historic and orthodox beliefs of the church across the ages. These beliefs are the ones that all members of Risen Christ Church must confess as their own.

The STATEMENT OF FAITH provides further clarity by describing the beliefs and practices that shape the life and doctrine of this local church. The pastors and other church leaders will teach, lead, and counsel the church in accordance with these convictions. While not every Risen Christ Church member will agree with everything in this document, members commit to not be divisive about differences of opinion on these matters.

As we seek to follow Jesus together, the CHURCH COVENANT defines our commitments to one another as members of this local church.
